Part-time Accounting Assistant/ Office Admin

Clareity Security is seeking a highly-detailed individual who can process invoices and assist with other functions in our corporate office.Primary Responsibilities Include but are not limited to the following

    • Invoicing

    • Update and maintain reports which can be asked for at any given moment for accounting purposes

Software Developer

We are looking for a Software Developer to help revolutionize the real estate industry. You will play a critical role in contributing enhancements to our core products and developing new products at Clareity Security. This position will work closely the product management team.Bring your innovative ideas to the software that powers the authentication systems of real estate multiple listing services and other real estate software. You will have exposure to software security, high scalability, high availability, and SaaS solutions. If you can take a product specification and turn it into a working product, you are the candidate we desire.

Primary Responsibilities Include

  • Supporting the development of our data warehouse projects
  • Front end UI/UX, back end logic, and back end reporting
  • Documentation of software usage and functionality
  • Working with senior developers on existing product enhancement and new product development

 

Requirements Include:

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience of 3+ years in web application development using Java, Java Servlets, JavaScript and MySQL
  • Advanced understanding of JavaScript preferred
  • Proven understanding or knowledge of object oriented programming (OOP)
  • Demonstrated understanding or experience in scalable and useable web applications using the above or similar technologies
  • HTML5, CSS (standard web development technologies) experience required
  • Data transfer techniques using JSON or other methodology
  • Working knowledge of data warehousing techniques and data extraction methods resulting in information display for on screen reporting
  • Proven ability to take direction on software development projects while collaborating with peers and management
  • Ability to work in a very fast-paced, marketing-driven, multi-task environment with frequent scope change
  • A willingness to do whatever it takes to succeed – as small but profitable company, each team member may be called on to wear many hats
  • Ability to understand and assist in developing highly customizable software
  • Knowledge of developing, testing, and deploying software in a Tomcat environment on a Linux platform is a plus

Technical Support Specialist

Provides software technical support for Clareity Security products to customers and/or partners by phone or email. This includes front line support answering basic to complex questions.

Responsibilities:

  • Receives telephone calls and emails from customers and/or partners concerning technical issues. Documents service requests for each customer call and communicate to necessary internal resources based on level of severity of the issue.
  • Takes ownership of customer inquiries by resolving moderate to complex issues. Proactively pushes to investigate issues with the customer using her/his knowledge. Places the effort required to get to the bottom of the problems and follows up consistently with customers as promised/agreed upon. Follows through on all commitments.
  • Goes as far as possible to investigate and gather appropriate information, and if necessary, escalates internally. Responsible for understanding the Severity of the issue in order to escalate issues and /or gather the necessary information to resolve the issue through the internal escalation paths in a timely manner.
  • Keeps customers informed of how and when problems are resolved within the severity levels timeframe. Provides the customer all the steps taken to resolve the incident. .
  • Interfaces heavily with development and QA staff to test and resolve customer issues.
  • Compose FAQ’s, document solutions, and knowledgebase items as needed or assigned.
  • Communicates in a professional manner both verbally and in written form.
  • Customer Care department provides work day support and after hours support via on call schedule. Must be available and participate in On-Call rotation “after hours” during the week and weekends.

 

Quality-Related Responsibilities

  • Serves as the initial point of contact regarding product quality issues; documents product quality issues reported by the customer and/or partner, and refers quality issues to the appropriate departments to increase product quality.
  • Ensures that all customers are operating with appropriate software release levels and fixes for reported problems.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science, Business or related field, advanced degree desirable or equivalent in technical certification with at least three years of customer applications support experience. Bachelor’s degree may be substituted by experience. Technical experience should correlate with product related operating systems and databases.
  • Technical background should include 2 years of related experience with Internet (browser) based systems support and/or desktop support experience.
  • Familiarity with general networking and security including browser security.
  • Experience with mobile device and tablet support is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of various operating systems for both PC and MAC necessary.
  • Three years experience working in a technical support role providing support on business critical software products desirable.
  • Learns to resolve general technical problems via telephone support.

Software Implementation Coordinator

Clareity Security is the leading provider of data security and revenue assurance products for the real estate industry. Our SAFEMLS® product helps MLS organizations and real estate professionals easily and effectively safeguard sensitive consumer information against unauthorized access and provide assurance that all users of the system are positively identified. Clareity Security also recently launched a popular Single Sign On solution. Clareity Security was launched in 2004 and serves over 100 customers representing almost 550,000 subscribers. We are a small but efficient organization that values a strong work ethic combined with the desire to have fun doing it!

The software implementation coordinator is responsible for assisting project managers with the successful implementation and configuration of customer software.. This position works closely with the Project Manager to finalize decisions and coordinate with the implementation manager on internal staff resources to plan product deployment, including required communication and technical customization. The software implementation coordinator completes and tests system configuration, and creates all necessary documentation for the customer.

Key Skills:

  • Provide support and guidance for software project implementation, including recommendations for best practices to the customer, and coordination of internal staff to meet set timelines.
  • Experience with Web applications and UI design and process follow in order to complete necessary software configuration for review by customer and project team.
  • Develop and document template workflows for configuration of software to ensure a repeatable process.
  • Communicate with project managers on progress and deliverables as it relates to completion of necessary work. Coordinate the revision of timelines if necessary.
  • Work with teams (internal and customers) based in multiple locations
  • Create and follow procedures to minimize end user disruption.
  • Use of MS office products and other web based tools required.
  • Use Jira Studio (issue tracking and wiki) to track all work and document procedures

Requirements Include:

  • Ability to handle multiple projects effectively
